Kitchen, Riverdale NY

JCS Construction Group supplied new custom kitchen cabinetry to go into an existing space. The old kitchen was outdated and the client wanted a more traditional appearance to go with their more traditional home. Doors with face frames and butt hinges were used throughout, along with soft close maple dovetail drawers. Decorative glass in some of the upper doors help to give the kitchen an older feel, while allowing the beaded backs in the glass door cabinets to be seen. There is a pass through between the stove area and sitting area adding natural light, a feeling of openness and additional counter top space. The kitchen work zones are broken up by function. There is a desk area that is in the space, but it is not visible from the main dining area. By adding a farm style sink, marble tops and traditional hardware, this totally updated kitchen appears to have always been integral to the home.
